Amazon is officially removing its $49,000 Amazon Gift Card program, but there’s still a chance it’ll be back in the future.
According to a Reddit post, the company is currently planning to discontinue the program.
Users who still have it will still be able to use the card, but it’ll only be available for $19.99 a year.
Amazon says that all cards are “currently on hold,” so the only way to redeem the $19 gift card is to buy it with a debit card, which is currently only available in the U.S. Amazon is not saying when the card will be back or if it will ever be reinstated.
It’s worth noting that this is a long-running program that Amazon started in 2013, and Amazon has been trying to roll out more card programs over the years.
The Amazon Card has long been a popular option for those with small kids, and it’s still one of the best ways to spend your Amazon Prime money.
It lets you use Amazon Prime, pay for Amazon products, and even buy games and movies from the company.
You can also make purchases with a credit card, and some companies even offer credit card rewards to customers for using their cards.
